MAERSK ABERDEEN当年的船期表。

长颈鹿被安置在绿色的箱子(属于货主)里,由一个红色的40尺平板集装箱(属于船东)承载着钓上甲板。

吊机吊的是平板柜而非货物本身,这个平板柜能承重44吨左右。

作业中……箱子尾部的货物是一些食物和容器(用来装长颈鹿便便的)。

放上这个平板柜的资料,Payload 44830 kgs。

因为箱子是OOG(Out Of Gauge)并且需要提供新鲜空气,所以长颈鹿箱子被安排在甲板上(而非甲板下)。

截止到2013年10月1日,马士基拥有255万个集装箱,合共运力410万个20尺标准箱。

A few curious facts about the fleet:
If all Maersk Line’s containers were lined up in a long row, they would stretch more than 25,000 kilometers or 0.62 times around the world. It is the equivalent of 593 marathons. With all the containers lined up, if you were driving next to them in a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (the world’s fastest car) at top speed of 431 km/hour, it would take you 58 hours to drive the entire distance – plus fuel stops! In a Kia Picanto it would take you 146 hours. It would take the Tour de France riders more than 25 days - and that’s if they do 25 days of non-stop cycling! The weight of the entire container fleet is roughly 7.95 million tons which is the same as more than 1.7 million elephants or 18,000 fully loaded jumbo jets.

If all the containers were loaded to the maximum, they could hold as much as 71 million tons worth of cargo or almost the weight of all the people in China!

The cubic capacity of all the containers is 138 million cubic meters, or roughly the same as 4,1 trillion ping pong balls or 419 billion bottles of Coca-Cola.

马士基集装箱新标准

马士基今年的干箱标准发生了若干改变,目的是在不影响集装箱质量和安全为前提下降低总体拥有成本:

2013马士基集装箱新标准

  • 箱体内壁的油漆颜色从 浅灰 Light-Grey(RAL 7035) 改为 棕红 Brown-Red (RAL 8012)。 —— 从4月13号开始执行。
    • 每个TEU可以节省1美金的油漆钱。(颜色较深的油漆比较便宜)
    • 看起来不会显得太脏。(减少洗柜比例/费用,卖柜的时候增加卖相)
    • 但目前的浅灰显得更加光鲜。
  • 减少侧顶梁和侧底梁的系索环(Lashing Ring),40尺柜的系索环由50个改为40个,20尺柜的系索环由26个改为20个。—— 从7月13号开始执行。
    • 每个40尺柜节约2美金,20尺柜节约1美金。
    • 每个系索环可以承受14700牛的拉力(1500公斤),所以有空间减少过多的数量。
    • CMA-CGM(36个),Textainer(40个)和Hanjin(40个)已经实施了。
  • 减少中部顶板的厚度。—— 从第四季度开始执行。
    • 减少厚度会降低钢材的使用量。(2.0毫米降到1.6毫米)
    • 每个单元顶板的波浪从4个增加到5个。(增加强度)
    • Hamburg Sud已经实施了。
  • 降低地板质量。
    • 只针对20尺柜的地板做出更改。
    • 靠近门口的两块地板会使用较低质量的材料。(论证过程居然是取测试用的小车轮子中轴对称线不会压到靠近门口的地板……)
  • 更换面漆下涂层。
    • 用面漆来代替原来的沥青。(环保+便宜)

从这点来看,就有卖家认为其他人愿意支付2000美元购买机器代劳的乔布斯“签名”或苹果颁发的员工奖章。

6GP.5 RE: Saf Chambal - Halide leak detector

大船的工具通常会在每个航次开始时获得补充,而一些小零件会被安排在Vessel assist时提供,今次的故事是Safmarine Chambal上的“Halide leak detector”因为单价偏低未能采购,遂被安排在盐田港临时补充。(很不幸,大陆海关拒绝了这个要求)而在到达盐田之前,机轮长(Chief Engineer)发了以下的投诉信,控诉为何因为单价偏低而不能采购(类似香蕉要5块钱一斤,苹果要10块钱一斤但最少需要买100块钱),可以看到船员是基于什么立场来投诉采购部的。

I would have to say that the purchasing department for the reefer spares is seriously frustrating our attempts on board to look after the valuable reefer cargoes placed on board Maersk vessels!
When we order spares it is to replace spares that have been consumed; ie to replace the parts used to repair containers carrying the high value reefer cargoes - to ensure that the unit is functioning correctly and that no claims arise that will give our company (MAERSK) a bad name.
These spares are not ordered basis we have nothing better to do so we 'shall just order some, any, random spares - for the sake of it'; no, these spares are ordered because we need them to do our jobs and to thereby uphold the company name.
Whether these ordered parts form part of this allowed kit or that allowed kit should not matter.
The part that has been cancelled on this order is a mere 10 USD, that's right, TEN USD. Surely, for the sake of the bigger picture, this part can be supplied.
I fail to understand how things like this can be allowed to happen. I really don't!

⚓ Maren Maersk Vessel Visit

前前后后说了一整年,15号终于可以去参观南沙码头了,希望安排一切有序并且不要下雨。

15号去的话可以见到CAROLINE MAERSK(IMO:9214903)和MAREN MAERSK(IMO:9359026),不过两条船都是丹麦旗,踏上任何一条都可以当是踏上总部的土地

2011年9月A.P. Moller - Maersk Group发布社群媒体传播指引《The A.P. Moller - Maersk Group Social Media Communication Guidelines》,用来提示及引导员工在社群媒体中用合适的态度和观点发表与公司有关的消息。 《指引》由指引目的、个人用途、工作有关用途,一般概念和联系方式5个部分组成。

《指引》用一个鼓励的态度对雇员在社群媒体的行为进行评价的同时建议遵守一定的指引以保证在社群媒体的表达是建设性并有益的。 例如个人用途中的“使用声明”部分是这样建议雇员在Facebook,Twitter和博客中进行声明。

Facebook: If you have chosen to disclose that you work at Maersk within your Facebook profile, you are recommended to preface any comments you make about Maersk’s position on an issue with the disclaimer written above or a shorter version, such as “views are my own”.

Twitter: If you have chosen to disclose where you work within your Twitter profile you should follow this disclosure with the shortened disclaimer “views are my own”. If the disclaimer is used in your profile as mentioned, then it does not need to be posted again within posts (aka “Tweets”).

Blogs: If you provide information on your profile regarding where you work it is recommended that you indicate that your views do not represent your employers. Additionally, you are recommended to add the shortened disclaimer “views are my own”.

追根朔源舰队这个单词对我来说最早的印象是在超任上的一个战棋游戏《银河战国群雄传》中获得,游戏中你操纵英雄带领的由不同舰种组成的舰队在空间中和不同势力进行谋略。

《银河战国群雄传》是日本漫画家真锅让治的漫画作品与改编动画。故事背景是一个人类和外星人共处的银河系的杀戮超现实的银河舞台,力量就是一切胜者为王败者为奴礼乐败坏的战国时代。 有4个国家可以选择

这个游戏的一个甜点是舰队在6边型棋盘上移动时的感觉堪称完美,舰队内的舰只会随着地形和友军的位置以适当的速度进行调整,伴随引擎的轰隆声和大宇宙的背景,为小学时还是满脑枪枪炮炮的我带来无穷遐想。(于是每天放学都跑去游戏机铺子看人家玩这个游戏) 我刚刚用模拟器录了一下战斗的视频,不过声音没处理好,将就看看。 优酷视频: 银河战国群雄传 接下来就应该是大学时代一度沉迷的网页游戏Ogame中的一个术语,FS——Fleet Save,舰队保护,每天下线前都要做一下这个动作来保存舰队。 中海QQ群里面有个肥仔又叫做F.S. ,游戏迷,所以大家推测FS系 法师 的缩写,但群主JJ指出亦有可能系Fxxk Sxxt的缩写。 时空穿梭到2011年,日常工作中觉得比较有型的一件事是把修复或者丢失的集装箱重新编入队伍中,行话叫做rejoin the fleet——令一个“单元”重新归入“地球最强商船舰队”。 于是马士基就推出一个介绍马士基船队的网站MaerskFleet啦,看官请点击:http://www.maerskfleet.com/,在里面可以实时追踪马士基187条大船,虚拟参观船只和船只比对,以下内容为无责任内网内容转载。

Until now, anyone with an interest or curiosity about Maersk, wanting to explore and learn more about the Group's many ships and rigs, had few options beyond text or photos found on the internet.

The new website, maerskfleet.com, enables customers and business partners as well as current and potential employees to take a closer look at Maersk and get a feel for the size and diversity of the fleet.
